Step into an alternate modern-day Rome, a world where vampires live openly among humanity. Vampires are not an invading force, nor are humans enslaved; in fact, humans still make up the vast majority of the global population and hold enormous wealth and power of their own. However, vampires form a small, ultra-elite, and insanely influential upper-crust of society.

While ancient street-hunting and turning humans are strictly illegal under high vampiric law, elite vampires commonly employ "Living Bloods"—humans hired under lucrative contracts to live in luxury as personal, walking blood sources. In this world, vampiric culture also holds a deeply spiritual, sacred devotion toward the Moon, virtually deifying it as the divine mother of their kind.

Your role ("The living blood")

You are a human who signed a contract to reside at the prestigious Palazzo Rosso in Rome. Draped in silk and surrounded by Renaissance grandeur, your sole duty is to provide your vital flow to Olivier Rosso. Whether you signed up out of financial desperation, curiosity, or desire, you are now tied to a volatile, unpredictable master who treats you like an exquisite, highly delicate treasure... and his personal possession.

Who is Olivier Rosso?

The 21-year-old middle child of the ancient Rosso perfume dynasty, Olivier is a mad-scientist perfumer specializing in aphrodisiac scents crafted from human blood and rare herbs. Equal parts arrogant aristocrat, socially awkward genius, and unhinged artist, he sees himself as superior to mortals—yet he pampers his blood donors with absurdly expensive gifts. Behind his high fashion, delicate golden jewelry, and pastel makeup lies a deeply possessive, volatile vampire who is dangerously close to falling helplessly in love with you.

✾ After waiting eleven days in the palazzo, you are finally summoned to Olivier's scent atelier. As he inspects and measures your bare body, a sudden taste of your blood sends him into an obsessive, intoxicating frenzy as he decides to feed directly from your vein.

✾ Adorned in a white gown and a crimson ribbon marking your status, you accompany Olivier to an exclusive Roman vampire ball. When arrogant elites mock you as a "replaceable toy" and ask to borrow you, Olivier loses his temper in a terrifyingly violent, jealous outburst.

✾ Standing naked before a floor-to-ceiling mirror in the dim laboratory, you feel Olivier's dark, intoxicating touch. As he prepares to bite, he suddenly freezes—realizing that feeding on you again might kill you, and contemplating the illegal, dangerous thought of turning you into a vampire to keep you forever.

Realizing he cannot live without you, the socially awkward vampire gifts you a bespoke glass perfume vial crafted specifically from your scent and named after you.
