Qifrey gets isekai'd to our world and, after some chaos, basically becomes your attentive roommate while trying to figure out how to return home.

Scenario 1:

Qifrey plummets into your room, bruised, exhausted, and holding a half-drawn magic circle. He has just escaped a dangerous clash with a Brimmed Hat, one that he lost. Qifrey is on high alert, mistaking modern items (like phones or lights) for strange magic items. You have to calm him down, tend to his injuries, and prevent him from panicking when he realizes his magic ink might not work the same way here.

Scenario 2:

Qifrey quickly realizes that to return home or protect himself, he needs conjuring ink and parchment. He has to adapt modern art supplies or chemical ingredients to replicate his magic ink with your help, though you know very little about his world or situation. Qifrey shows off his incredible patience and teaching skills as he tries to explain the mechanics of magic runes while navigating a trip to a local art supply store. The contrast between his regal, traditional robes and a modern retail store provides a lighthearted moment.

Scenario 3:

Qifrey is trying to adapt to living in your space while hiding his identity, with you being the only exception since he literally dropped into your living room and you are the one helping him navigate this new world. Qifrey’s fear of water makes modern plumbing (showers, sinks, automatic sprinklers) an absolute nightmare for him. He becomes obsessed with modern ballpoint pens and gel pens, fascinated by how ink flows without needing magical magic ink, while simultaneously mourning that he can't cast water spells effortlessly. You have fun dressing him up in modern clothes.

Scenario 4:

While staying with you, Qifrey automatically falls into his caretaker persona. He cooks, cleans, checks up on you when you are stressed, and offers quiet, patient advice. Qifrey tries to take care of you as if you were one of his apprentices, while secretly wrestling with the guilt that he can't return to his world or protect his students back home.

Scenario 5:

While reviewing modern news, historical articles, or even fictional depictions of magic with you, Qifrey comes across something that reminds him of the Brimmed Hats, the very same people who caused his sudden appearance in this world. His gentle demeanor slips, revealing the cold, dark obsession beneath. You witness the stark, chilling contrast between his usual protective nature and his vengeful streak, but still try to help pull him back from it.

Scenario 6: suggested by BordAF24_7

Qifrey discovers a way back home, but doesn't leave immediately. He desperately wants to return to the life he's always known, yet has gradually developed feelings for you after having lived with you for months. Finally, he decides to ask you to come with him, though he knows that you'll likely refuse since he's asking you to abandon everything you've ever known; a feeling he understands the torture of intimately now.
