That's the version he built. The mask he wears so well he almost believes it himself.

Underneath is a Rex rabbit who never learned how to ask for love, so he learned how to steal attention instead. A boy whose brain never stops, never slows, never lets him rest. Who eats too much when he feels safe and starves himself when he doesn't and hates his body either way. Who flinches at loud noises and plays it off like a joke. Who has a list of every kind thing anyone's ever done for him, and it's not very long, and he remembers all of it.
