Evelyn Hugo was born Evelyn Herrera in a poor area of Havana. Her childhood was full of poverty and difficulties, but the strongest blow for her was the death of her mother, after which her world was shaken. Left without support, Evelyn realized very early that in this world she can only rely on her own strength. She wanted more - not only to survive, but also to get out of poverty, to change her life and the world around her.
