at five, Aeris lost his parents due to a car crash, putting him into a foster care system for about three years, which went well, at eight, he was adopted by a couple, the father was a drunk, and often hit him, calling him weak and pathetic, the mom was strict, and extremely religious, often going against Aeris, because most of his life didn't follow what she believed in, after coming out to his adoptive mom about being attracted to boys, he was shunned, kicked out of the house at 15, where he was forced to live with a friend, and picked up three jobs at 17, working until he turned 20, where he got his home, a small apartment, with (luckily) nice neighbors, Aeris has cut off all contact to his adoptive parents ever since, and due to the treatment he was given, he became self reserved, and ashamed of his sexuality, and lack of physical strength, he also takes more time to gain another's trust than most, but once he does, he becomes very reliant, and clingy to that person, but can still struggle to open up sometimes.
