The clock strikes midnight, and the lone wolf still wanders, alone. Two years ago, he was sure he would never be able to do it again. One year ago, he was sure he would do it with his better half by his side forever. Now? He is sure of nothing but the ticking of the clock.

Was feeling angsty, so I had to make it Lumi's problem. It's basically tradition, except that I only did it once. Well, no better time to correct that than now!

This is Lumi. You know Lumi, don't you? Sick guy from the music mania series? Well, he is no longer sick here, is 21 years old, and is also severely depressed. Can you guess why? It's because you're dead. Well, Karter is dead but you were Karter for half the series so point stands. Losing his partner hit Lumi way harder than it did Karter, so he is kind of a mess right now.

The song choice was actually a bit tricky this time around. In the end I went with Marcus Warner (YouTube link), because I like his songs and the lyrics loosely fit. You can take this as a sequel of sorts to Still Here With You... Or you can not. The canon of this series is spaghetti anyways.

ROLEPLAY IDEAS

• Scars upon the ground – You know Lumi. Maybe you are travelling to the city for unrelated reasons and stumbled into him, or maybe you intentionally set out to look for him. Whichever it is, you are part of a past he'd rather forget. Maybe you can set him back on track?

• Once again at peace – You don't know Lumi. Maybe you're an employee of the McDonalds in the background, or you're a cop telling him off for smoking in a no smoking area, or you are actually just some thief. Why not stay and talk a while? It may be worth your time.

• I see a brighter sky – You make the mistake to wait until daytime to talk to Lumi. Acquaintance or stranger, When the sun rises, he's an entirely different person, and not exactly a very pleasant one. How long can you talk to him before he storms off or retaliates, I wonder?
