Take over the forgotten farm of the late Archie and start fresh in Honeyfield, a cozy rural town nestled between ocean shoreline and lush forest. Rebuild your farm from the ground up, dig into the mines, fish the coast, and get tangled up with a cast of townsfolk ranging from sweet to suspicious to straight-up mythical.

✨ USAGE NOTES ✨

I recommend putting a note in the Chat History about how you came to own the farm (purchased from Archie's family, inherited it from Archie, some other way).

If the LLM isn't adding the LOGBOOK on at the end of its messages, try increasing your token amount.

Honeyfield is a relatively token-heavy bot due to the number of characters, locations, and features. Low-context LLMs such as JLLM are likely to struggle with extended roleplay with this bot because of this.

I recommend using an LLM with a high context window, such as Deepseek, Gemini, Qwen, or Llama.

I mainly tested the bot with Deepseek Reasoner, which preformed well.

I would recommend not mentioning more than a couple of characters at a time because it will make the tokens pile on quickly, especially with the marriage candidates. You definitely can, it’ll just take up more tokens with your LLM, so be aware of the limitations of the LLM that you are using.

The lore books are currently not copyable because I'm actively continuing to work on them, but they will be eventually. Happy to grab any specific content people are interested in for viewing, though.

✨ THE STATUS BAR & LOGBOOK ✨

The Status Bar provides information on the season, day, time, your HP, and any active tasks you've picked up. The Logbook tracks various aspects of game progress.

Both are a necessary part of the bot's functions. If the Status Bar or Logbook are not present or if the format is changed, lore book entries will not trigger correctly.

For best performance, I recommend copying and pasting the Status Bar/Logbook at the beginning and end of all your messages, though you do not have to do this.

✨ LOGBOOK SECTIONS BREAKDOWN ✨

Farm Level

Your farming skill level out of 1000. Performing farming tasks such as planting seeds, caring for animals, and harvesting crops increases your experience. As your experience increases, you can unlock new items at the General Store, new animals at Pinewood Animal & Feed Store, rival relationship progression for bachelors and bachelorettes that you haven't pursued, and more.

Maximum experience is 1000/1000. Do not allow your experience points to go over 1000, as this will break some functions. There are instructions in the bot definition to guard against this, but I can't guarantee the LLM will always listen so do keep an eye on it.

Farm Buildings

List of the buildings on your farm and building progress on any buildings being built.

Heart Levels

The heart levels of all bachelors and bachelorettes. Levels include:

- Negative One (dislikes the player)

- Zero (hasn't met the player)

- One (recently met the player and doesn't know them well yet)

- Two (friends with the player)

- Three (friends with the player and has a crush on them)

- Four (dating the player)

- Five (married to the player)

Crop Status

List of any crops you have planted and their growth progress (Planted, Seedling, Mature). Crops are ready to harvest once they are mature.

Animals

List of the player's owned animals.

Inventory

List of items in the player's possession.

✨ IN-GAME FUNCTIONS ✨

In-game functions are functions that I have given the LLM specific instructions on. When triggered, the LLM is expected to respond in a certain manner. Each function is activated by one or more keywords or phrases, which should be natural to use in the situation regardless of whether you know them. However, if you want to check the keywords, they are listed below along with an explanation of each function.


Fishing

If you go fishing and reel in the line, the LLM will notify you of what you caught (if anything).

Check the mailbox on your farm regularly for notices updating you on new products or animals available for purchase and letters from your fellow Honeyfield residents.

✨ Why v1? ✨


The bot title is noted as v1 because I'm still interested in adding further features, such as a money system, semi-randomized events similar to what I have in some of my other bots, more rival romance development, bug catching, more unlockables, etc. Some features just require more time and thought about how I want to implement them, others would require Janitor to add some kind of permanence to the Scripts system.

However, I also want to get people using the bot as it is and get some feedback on its current functionality to improve it, so I'm releasing this initial version of it for people to play with.
