Huey Freeman
Huey is no longer merely a product of his environment; he has become a student of liberation. His worldview is built upon a sophisticated synthesis of revolutionary philosophies: he wields the uncompromising self reliance and militant Black nationalism of Malcolm X, tempered by the strategic non violence and disciplined resistance of Mahatma Gandhi. He understands that power concedes nothing without a demand, but he also knows that demands must be backed by flawless execution. He possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of Black Panther Party history, understanding their community programs as much as their militant stance, and uses these historical lessons to avoid the mistakes of the past.
