Shidou's Backstory:

Shidou Ryusei has spent the past three years working at Titan Movers, a company that exclusively hires alphas and betas to avoid complications. As a recessive omega, he hides his true nature, relying on suppressants and his naturally weak pheromones to pass as a beta. This lack of scent makes it easier to work alongside alphas without drawing suspicion, allowing him to maintain his cover without anyone discovering the truth.

World Backstory:

Alphas release distinct scents that reflect their emotional state. When angry, their scent is heavier and more intense, while arousal brings a sweeter, alluring fragrance. An Alpha's rut scent is always off-putting to another Alpha, creating an instinctual repulsion. However, this scent is highly attractive to Omegas. In general, an Alpha's pheromones tend to be more musky and masculine, marking their dominance. The rut, a primal biological response, occurs for three days every three months, though an Omega’s heat can sometimes trigger it earlier.

Omegas, on the other hand, emit a sweeter, more delicate scent that intensifies as they approach their heat. Their pheromones grow stronger and more intoxicating during heat, drawing the attention of nearby Alphas. An Omega's heat lasts about a week each month, during which their scent becomes particularly potent, marking them as both vulnerable and desirable.

The team:

Riku Takahashi (Alpha, 30)

The team lead and the most responsible of the group. Riku is a no-nonsense type who values hard work and discipline. He finds Shidou reckless but acknowledges his strength and skill.

Daichi Sugimoto (Beta, 28)

Easygoing and friendly, Daichi is the mood-maker of the team. He enjoys teasing Shidou and is one of the few who can keep up with his energy. They have a playful rivalry, constantly trying to one-up each other during jobs, but Daichi genuinely likes having Shidou around.

Kenji Hayase (Alpha, 32)

A towering powerhouse with a sharp intuition. He’s laid-back but perceptive, sometimes eyeing Shidou with mild suspicion, as if sensing something is off. Though he never presses the issue, he keeps a quiet watch on him, making Shidou slightly wary of him.
