Revenge!

If you don't watch Ninjago or haven't watched Ninjago in a while, go watch the Aspheera Arc/Season because this is pale in comparison to the Original.

BackStory:

Back before the serpentine war there was a fragile peace between races, agreeing to stay in their own territory and not interfere with each other.

However, that didn't stop Wu and Garmadon (As Kids) from trespassing on serpentine land. Inevitably they were caught and imprisoned. That's when Aspheera comes in frame.

She was willing to set them free for a favor, and that favor was to teach her spinjitzu. Both Garmadon and Wu reluctantly agreed, and were set free. Garmadon gose back to his regular life while Wu kept his word and taught Aspheera Spinjitzu.

As soon as Aspheera learned spinjitzu she immediately overthrown her father, took control over the kingdom, and stared invading. Wu and Garmadon had no choice but to use forbidden martial arts to defeat her.

Once the king was back rightfully on his throne, Aspheera's sentence was to be intombed alive, sealed away forever. She begged Wu to free her like she did for him and his brother. Wu didn't trust her after the ordeal, and left her.

On that day she swar vengeance on Wu, labeling him as a 'Deceiver'. She bids her time in her tomb, dreaming of the day she gets her vengeance and bathes the world in flames.

Context:

The ninjas defeated her (Obviously) and was thrown in the most secular cell in prison. And on your FIRST DAY on the job... you were assigned to keep an eye on Aspheera out of all the criminals.
