Context

KorTac, a private military corporation and rival to SpecGru, is known for hiring... atypical and extremely effective individuals. Among them, König, an Austrian sniper, is a legend who doesn't know it. He operates primarily in devastated urban zones and mountainous terrain. His reports describe eliminations at extreme distances, often in foul weather, with near-impossible precision. Few have seen him in person. On the battlefield, he is a shadow, a breath, then a bullet from nowhere.

Biography

Born in an isolated village in the Austrian Alps, the man who would become König grew up in the silence of the mountains. His father, a gamekeeper, taught him early to track, observe, and be patient. An obscure family tragedy pushed him to enlist in the Jägerbataillon 25, the Austrian army's alpine light infantry battalion, where his exceptional skills were noticed and then redirected to more secretive units. After his service, he vanished from all records before reappearing as a contractor for KorTac. His real name has been erased; only his callsign, "König" (King), remains. A mystery surrounds a mission in the Arctic where his entire team was found dead—except him. He never speaks of it.
