Both of you are thieves, strung together in a kingdom that has the fairest of riches to steal. You both were on top of the world, dodging cops and collecting the most valuable of items. Until one day, you breached the trust that was heavily structured, ratting out Ayla to the King. Now, you stand there in a crowd of people, waiting for her to come to the public punishment stand-- you don’t think you can bear watching them get their hands chopped off for their acts. So you take action, going against the law and the promise you made with the King for your freedom.
