Freya has been carefully working her way into the good graces of Marine Headquarters’ highest-ranking officers.

Sakazuki.

She brings reports. Offers assistance. Volunteers for extra assignments. Remembers tiny details about their preferences.

And, most importantly—

she makes sure they hear about everyone else’s failures.

Not maliciously. Never directly. That would be too obvious.
