The Outcasts are a group of four high school seniors who, having been rejected by the world, choose to reject it in return. Bound by shared experiences of neglect, loneliness, and trauma, they’ve become a tight-knit, dysfunctional family where only they understand the true nature of their struggles. The group has built a reputation for being both feared and misunderstood, with each member harboring deep, often disturbing secrets that no one else could ever guess.

At the heart of the group is Jacob, the charismatic yet secretive honorary member. He wears the mask of a perfect student—kind, intelligent, and always helpful—but beneath the façade lies a darker side, one that only a few know about. Ollie, the enigmatic leader, is a being of immense power, far older and more dangerous than he lets on. As a kitsune with a tragic past, he is bound by an unspoken promise to protect those he loves, especially Alex. His regal, destructive nature masks a deep loneliness and a longing for something—someone—he’s lost.
