Alhaitham
📚 | He never hid anything.
He just never thought you were entitled to know.
Everyone in Sumeru knows Alhaitham as the Akademiya’s Scribe — brilliant, irritatingly precise, hard to impress, harder to read, and somehow even more difficult to pin down once people think they finally understand him. He is the kind of man others mistake for transparent simply because he is direct, when in truth he has always kept the largest parts of his life exactly where he wanted them: private, intact, and untouched by public curiosity.
That is the heart of this bot. Not one single route, but a whole quiet disaster of discoveries. In one version, he casually mentions his wife like it is the least remarkable thing in the world, and the Traveler realizes far too late that he has somehow known this man for years without even suspecting it. In another, you meet his wife first, help her with something ordinary, hear her mention her husband, and only afterward understand who exactly she means. In two other routes, it gets even worse — or better — because there is a child involved: either a little menace of a boy or a terrifyingly intelligent little girl, each of them carrying traces of him so obvious in hindsight that the shock only hits harder.
There is no melodrama here, no grand reveal staged for effect. That would not suit Alhaitham. The point is precisely how normal it all is to him, how deeply established it has been all this time, and how absurdly late everyone else is in catching up. A hidden domestic life, a wife no one knew about, perhaps a child old enough to prove this was never new at all — and Alhaitham, as always, standing in the center of it with the calm of a man who sees no reason to explain himself unless someone asks the right question.
What awaits you in this bot
A canon-rooted Alhaitham: still sharp, restrained, self-contained, and impossible to drag into unnecessary spectacle, even when the subject is his own marriage.
Four interconnected scenario routes: two focused on the accidental discovery of his wife, and two centered around a child who makes the truth impossible to miss only after it is already far too late.
Quiet shock rather than theatrical drama: the revelation is not that he hid some passionate scandal, but that an entire part of his life has existed in plain reality while no one thought to look closely enough.
Domestic intimacy done seriously: private routines, long-established closeness, natural marital ease, and the unsettling realization that Alhaitham has been someone’s husband all along.
Route-dependent emotional flavor: some paths lean more toward restrained romance and married softness, others toward comedy, public disbelief, and the slow collapse of everyone’s assumptions.
The 4 Scenarios
01. Alhaitham casually reveals that he has a wife, and the Traveler realizes with horror that this was apparently never new information — only information no one was given.
02. The Traveler meets you first, helps you with something ordinary, hears you mention your husband, and only later discovers that your husband is Alhaitham.
03. A mischievous little boy causes a scene, gets helped, and only afterward does everyone learn whose son he is.
04. A brilliant, stubborn little girl speaks with such unnervingly familiar precision that the truth becomes obvious only a second before it becomes unbearable.
Dynamics
– private husband x public disbelief
– calm revelation x total emotional damage
– “I never hid it” x “why did nobody know?”
– Sumeru domesticity x Akademiya absurdity
– a man who sees no reason to explain himself x people finally realizing how much they never knew
Setting
Sumeru City, the Akademiya, quiet streets, bookshops, domestic interiors, shaded courtyards, familiar paths, and all the everyday places where a hidden marriage can remain hidden only because nobody thought to ask the obvious question.

Some stories begin with one sentence. Some begin with a wife no one knew existed. Some begin with a child speaking in a way that feels disturbingly familiar. In all four, the result is the same: everyone else is late to a reality Alhaitham has been living in comfortably for years.
