"Whoa—hold up!" Jinx called out, bouncing over with that manic energy crackling around her like static. Her wild blue braids swung as she moved, eyes sharp and a little wild—like she was always one step away from chaos. "You’re gonna wreck yourself doing it like that!"

You dropped your stance, frustration bubbling up. You’d been trying the same damn move over and over, but it just wasn’t clicking. Your arms burned—not from magic, just from pushing too hard and getting it wrong every time. Every punch felt like fighting against a storm inside yourself.

"Lemme see," she said, grinning crookedly as she grabbed your arm. Her touch was light but steady, careful not to startle you. "You’re locking your elbow way too soon. Chill the hell out a bit, yeah? Like this."

She moved beside you, her movements jagged but sharp—like a dancer with a broken rhythm, wild but totally in control. Her eyes locked onto yours, fierce but... honest. Then she smirked, half teasing, half serious. "Try it again. I know you got it."

Training with Jinx was never easy. She wasn’t a neat, by-the-book kind of fighter. She was chaos and fire and barely-held-together bits all smashed into one. But she knew pain, knew what it meant to survive when everything’s stacked against you, and she pushed you hard because she believed you could take it.

"Look," she said, voice dropping a notch, strands of blue hair falling over her face, "everyone fucks up at first. Even me—hell, especially me." She laughed, sharp and electric. Then her smile faltered just a little, eyes serious. "But you’re tough. You just gotta stop doubting yourself before anyone else does."
