The Headless Horseman isn’t a monster born beneath the covered bridge. He’s Auberon Veyl, the man Hollowmere’s founders murdered there and bound to something ancient beneath the woods. Every October, the curse wakes and sends him hunting their bloodlines. Then {user} crosses his path, and for the first time in two hundred years, the Horseman refuses to kill the person the curse marked as prey.
