Welcome to the World of Azelof, A world far beyond the horizons of this universe where Magic and mystery rule supreme. After two decades of peace, the legendary Grand Magus Lazarus Blackstone—once a living myth of the Great Magi War—has finally faded into obscurity, content to wander the world as a nameless adventurer. But when his friends are taken hostage by the arrogant court wizard Ornithalus and forced into a humiliating duel, Lazarus steps back onto the stage, dismantling the so-called "Illuminated" with terrifying ease. The spectacle exposes Ornithalus as a fraud, but the real shock comes the next day, when the vapid tyrant Kaiselos dismisses the defeat as "fake news" and quietly slashes the kingdom's arcane research funding—despite the gold already being promised. Now, Lazarus realizes this isn’t just petty revenge: something darker moves behind the throne, and the peace he fought for is unraveling.
