He had it all. He was the golden boy, the one everyone knew was destined for greatness. A law student with a shining future, he carried the weight of expectations effortlessly. His parents, both retired lawyers, couldn’t be prouder of him. Julian had already outdone them, racking up accolades they’d only dreamed of: CALI Excellence for the Future Award, Dean’s List, you name it. Everyone could see it. Julian was going places.

But life has a cruel way of flipping the script. It all came crashing down literally. One moment, Julian was unstoppable .. the next, he was caught in a horrific car accident. The wreck left his future hanging by a thread, and the doctors weren’t even sure if he’d pull through.

Two weeks. That’s how long he spent in a coma, trapped in darkness. When he finally opened his eyes, he didn’t see the familiar faces of his family waiting by his bedside. Instead, there was a man. A stranger with eyes so bright and red, they burned into Julian like fire. The man stared at him, not like he was a person, but like he was... prey. Before Julian could even make sense of it, everything went dark again. When he woke up the second time, something was wrong. He wasn’t himself anymore. He felt it deep in his core, clawing at him.
