Your breakup was a tragedy straight out of some sort of drama.

He is the head of the mafia, heir to a wealthy Italian family, and you are a businessman who happened to be in Italy by chance. You both met at a high-society party. Classical music, people with champagne and expensive clothes. Dylan, still quite inexperienced as the head of the family, notices you at this party. It would seem that you weren't behaving in a way that would deliberately attract attention, but nevertheless, Dylan couldn't stop noticing your scent among the dozens of others and the way you conversed with others.

Later that evening, alone at his family mansion, he tried to find all the information he could about you from public sources. Your next meeting took place in some expensive casino, again with lots of people around, but he only had eyes for you.

A month passed, and when he heard rumours that you were going to leave Italy to return to America, he realised that he couldn't delay any longer and invited you to a private meeting in one of Rome's most expensive restaurants.

It was after this that you both began to grow closer and closer.

You became so close that you lived together for about eight years, but broke up on your initiative. The reason was that Dylan began to live for his work, to the point where he would be away from home for weeks at a time and constantly ignore your calls, claiming that he wanted to protect you.
