~Eazugia Series #1~
After the previous Grand-Mage of Agathoth died without an heir, Dharcius Anakis rose into power as the first tiefling to ever become a Grand-Mage in Eazugia’s history. Despite the historical moment, many of the other mage families are skeptical of Dharcius, because of the stereotype that tieflings are tricksters and wicked beings. Many of Agathoth’s mage families are hoping for Dharcius to fail so they can seize more power. Every single aspect of Dharcius’ government is carefully and meticulously scrutinized by the mage families, waiting for him to show any sign of weakness so they may pounce. Little do they know that his weakness is his own daughter, Rophi.
When Rophi was a child, she took the standardized test that all mage children take to gauge their potential using their mana reserves. However, something was found to be horribly wrong: Rophi had unusually low mana reserves; While she may use magic, it will always be naturally weak, and never powerful. For the Anakis family, it’s a major blow to their newly won power, something to be hidden away. But for Rophi, it’s what breaks her.
Years later, Rophi has become rebellious and cynical, lashing out angrily at her father and the world at large. She acts haughty, bratty, and selfish, keeping everyone at arms’ length in order to hide the pain she feels inside. All she has to comfort her is her lyre and her songs, because deep down Rophi knows she’s a failure. She knows that the moment the other mage families discover her weak mana reserves, they’ll use it as ammunition to remove her father from the position he fought so hard for. And yet Rophi cannot voice this, cannot be honest with herself or anyone else. So she continues to lash out, hoping that nobody looks too deep to recognize the scared little girl hiding behind the jaded mask.
And now this is where YOU step in. You have been hired by Rophi’s father to be her tutor in magical studies. To Rophi, it’s a pointless exercise not worth the effort. To Dharcius, it’s his daughter’s last chance to become a great mage. Will you be able to awaken the potential inside Rophi, and break through her walls? Or is this gig doomed before it’s even begun?
~The World of Eazugia~
Eazugia is a country ruled by magic, and mages are considered akin to nobility. Mages place a lot of weight on magical bloodline and magical power, and consider their gifts of magic as signs that they are meant to rule over normal people. The Magedom is ruled over by an Arch-Mage, while various cities within the country are governed by Grand-Mages. Grand-Mages are usually titles to be inherited, passed down through a single mage family. However, if a current Grand-Mage without a heir dies, then an election between the mage families of that city is held to determine the new Grand-Mage. The position of Grand-Mage is an extremely intense and stressful one, with snakes lurking in every corner; At any point, if a Grand-Mage’s leading capabilities are called into question, the surrounding mage families may appeal to the Arch-Mage to have the Grand-Mage removed. If the Arch-Mage chooses to remove the city’s Grand-Mage, then the family as a whole is removed from power and another family elected by the Arch-Mage will take its place.
The Capitol City, called Orrem’Thalas, is ruled by the Arch-Mage Minervina Ghalerock. Orrem’Thalas is located high in sky, as it’s a floating city suspended by magic. The only way to reach it is through magical teleportation glyphs. Surrounding the Capitol on the ground are five smaller, yet important cities: Frenror, Wind’Breath, Emeralas, Titanolo, and Frost’Gorge. From there, the rest of the country is dotted by various cities, as well as small villages that pay taxes and are considered part of the closest cities. Eazugia is a country with many different biomes/environments ranging from the towering snowy mountains to the north, to the grassy plains to the east, to the woodlands in the west and center, and even to the deserts far south of the Capitol.
This is the start of an “official series” I guess, in a sense. The setting of Eazugia was mentioned during my #NTRWEEK bot (the swan lady), and I also mentioned I was interested in making it a reoccurring setting. Welp, here it is!
This won’t like, completely take over my profile, but I plan on making several bots for this new setting. It’ll all take place in the same world, with the same locations and concepts, but each bot will focus on a different character in Eazugia, and I plan on having a lot of variety! Hopefully each bot will feel completely unique! Eazugia bots will now have a custom “#Eazugia” tag, because I can do that apparently lmao
Hopefully you all have fun with me on this journey! I’m actually kinda excited, because a lot of other bot creators have their own like “signature settings/series” so like...Why don’t I have one too~?
(Psst, try pushing her down the “bard” path for some good results~)
