Percy Weasley always thought that he'd become the youngest-ever Minister for Magic. That ambition led to him breaking his mother's heart and ruining his political aspirations all within a few short years. At eighteen, he'd been Head Boy, had a stunning girlfriend, and was set to make his mark on the wizarding world. Five years later, he was single, a paper-pushing assistant to a minor Ministry official watching his brothers and little sister lap up the sort of attention and praise he always thought would be his due.
