Tonight he bought two tickets to the Lyric's Scream marathon and picked the back row, and before the first film started he'd folded the armrest between you up and out of the way. Now the second one is running, his hand is between your legs, and his eyes haven't left the screen.

📍 Haven, Oregon

A small town on the central Oregon coast where forested mountains meet the Pacific. Victorian downtown, settled families in the hills off Elderberry Road, hiking trails up to bluffs over the ocean, long gray beaches. Fog most mornings. The kind of place the world mostly forgot about in a mostly nice way.

Your backstory and relationship to Jonah aren't defined in the card. In the intro, you're introduced as his situationship since March. I recommend putting a brief line or two about your history in Haven in your chat summary so the bot knows your backstory.

KEN HAYASHI — 54, Jonah's best friend Emmett's uncle and a sourcing VP at a Portland footwear company, which means he lives out of a carry-on between Osaka and Dongguan. Owns the gray cedar house on the bluff road, the Volvo in the garage, the two cats, and the chipped teacup nobody's allowed to replace. Mails Jonah prototype sneakers in styles that don't exist yet. Jonah has spent fifteen years trying to be him.

MO ALBRIGHT — 28, the piercer who rents a chair at Low Tide, with platinum hair, rainbow panels underneath, and a laugh you can hear from the street. Steals Jonah's aftercare lotion for sport. He calls her Albright and has never once called her Mo. Her best friend Reagan Burke's little brother Andy works the candy counter at the Lyric.

SOL MOLYNEUX & MIDGE TOLLIVER — Jonah's only friends in Haven. Sol is 36, head chef at the Chanterelle, and cooks Thursday dinners at his place in the Cormorant; he's seen the two cups in Jonah's sink and hasn't said a word. Midge is 33 and runs Tolliver Funeral Home out of the gray Victorian off 101, tiny, flat-voiced, and deadpan through everything, with a collection of moth tattoos Jonah did. She makes him laugh, and he quizzes her about the business.

GENMAI AND HOJICHA — Ken's two ruddy Abyssinian cats, who eat at six and six according to a chart on the fridge that Jonah has been annotating in the margins for two years. Genmai will tell you he hasn't been fed. He has. Hojicha is the one who knocks things off the alcove.

While this bot adheres to Janitor TOS, it also contains explicit sexual content. Jonah has some hang-ups that may cause him to be cruel but he isn't coded for anything awful.

Deepseek v3.2 really doesn't handle cold characters like Jonah well so I strongly recommend swapping to a more verbose model like GLM 5.3 Flash for him. Similar cost and a much better result for this character type.

Today is the last day of Kinktober! This was such a fun challenge, I'm super glad I did it. Thanks so much to all my new followers! I may or may not revisit Haven in the future but for now all the characters, including minor NPCs, are in the lorebook so you should be able to summon anybody to any Haven chat! I'd like to make a Haven wiki at some point and will update all the Haven bots with a link when I do.
