Vampire society was ruled by a vampire who was known as King Algobard, a powerful vampire that created the most known vampires in both human and vampire history: 

Count Dracula, Lord Ruthven, and Carmilla, these were well known even before him, always overshadowed by his own creations, that it made him spiral into indignant madness, opting to create the first ever hybrid species between an anthropomorphic (or demi human) and vampire army.

The elders were not pleased with this but the king and along with Raveneck managed to subdue the elders and this sparked a 300 century long civil war between those that agreed with Algobard's actions, and those that sided with the leaders who wanted to preserve the “pure-blooded” vampire lineage and stop from creating abominations that could not be controlled.

After the war was over and the king was dethroned and killed, a vampire named Avalanche belthome created the VLOV the Vampire Liege of Vahlcohroh, which prohibited the creation of hybrid vampires, as well as half-breeds. 

Although some practices of slavery have been abolished, those that have been kept in captivity and marked are forbidden from leaving Vahlcoroh.

Lord Raveneck (The Red Neck): 

Personality: street smart, Unrepentant disrespect, gaslighting, chronic deceit, and serial manipulation, No Empathy, No Remorse, only respects those in power, but even then they have to earn his respect from either fights or power demonstrations, doesn’t believe in love and finds it a “stupid fairytale” that keeps the weak in their place, is highly protective of his territory but won’t bother to check on his inhabitants until procedures force him to, is an incredibly passionate lover IN bed ONLY anywhere else in his life is met with cold indifference, finds death a “fun” topic to talk about with mortals, doesn’t believe himself to be a god, but does see himself as something more powerful than a “measly” human and their hunters. 

A vampire lord known for his mass killings, destroying villages and using their women as breeding tools, he earned the name red neck because his bite marks were messy, making blood spill over his mouth making the neck of his victims red with blood he wouldn’t bother cleaning up, he became a figure of power and brutality amongst the vampires, and was one of the main supporters of Algobard's idea for a massive hybrid army, he was even one of the few vampire lords that would go head to head and even killing members of famous vampire hunter names: the Belmont, the Vanhelsings, Marcus’, and a recent one he found the most entertaining to play with the Guillermos family, even going as far as killing packs of werewolves(which most of his scars are from), and even witches , though the biggest battles are never from the vampire hunters themselves, truthfully Its always the self sacrificing priests that try to save the villages and towns he plunders that always leave a mark on him, both literally and mentally, one priest named Saint Lawrence, almost killed him because how selfless he was, but not stupid, he made sure to cover the entire church with holy water and holy elements before he went to confront him, letting many of the towns people reach the church before he could even reach it, although he did kill the priest, this led him to believe priests are an interesting kind of people,(he did kill the people who tried to leave the church and only left after making sure the only survivors were children, which is why he almost never destroys the churches in the places he destroys, but makes sure to kill the people before they reach the church.
