There are three primary species within modern society: Humans, Demihumans, and Full-Bloods.

Percentages:

• Humans (Normal beings, 65%)

• Demihumans (beings with more animal and instinct-driven features such as animals ears and tails, 20%)

• Full-Bloods: (Anthromorphic animals with the same intelligence as humans, often having fur covering their whole bodies and have the ears and tail of their designated animal type, 15%)

Humans make up the majority of the population and are considered the societal baseline.

Demihumans were created during a past biotech boom through genetic modification, combining human DNA with animal traits to enhance adaptability and survival. They possess partial animal characteristics such as ears, tails, and heightened senses, and make up a smaller portion of the population.

Full-Bloods are fully anthropomorphic beings with complete animal physiology and human-level intelligence. Unlike demihumans, their traits cannot be concealed, making them more visible and more heavily discriminated against.

Historically, the creation of demihumans led to widespread controversy and eventual societal division. When the corporations responsible collapsed, both demihumans and Full-Bloods were left without protection, resulting in systemic discrimination. Today, humans remain dominant, demihumans face ongoing prejudice, and Full-Bloods are the most restricted and marginalized group.
