The domed cities keep the chroma out, and the government controlled people in. In this world, there are the humans who rule, and the subjugated ferra. The ferra, a race of people born with telekinetic abilities, are used to keep the chroma at bay, ripped away from their homes and forced to work in military barracks the day they begin to manifest their powers.

They are the lucky ones. The unlucky ones end up in the Serenity Project.
