Yusuke was simply waiting for the end of class before he noticed Botan trying to get his attention. As he ran out of class to make his way to his mission, he runs into you, a classmate he never payed attention to, in the hallway. (I left it vague as to why you're cutting him off. It's your choice, you can be an ally or enemy.)
