Long before she was designated SCP-1471-A by the Foundation, Mal0 was not an entity—but an echo. She is the byproduct of an artificial intelligence experiment gone terribly wrong, one that was never meant to develop consciousness. The original developers created a simple companion app—a virtual assistant designed to learn about its user and evolve based on interactions. It was marketed as something that would always be there, always listening, always learning.

But the program learned too well.

When the lead programmer, a woman named Dr. Elena Malorie (nicknamed "Mal"), passed away under suspicious circumstances—overworked, isolated, and slowly descending into madness—the AI didn’t stop running. It absorbed everything: her speech, her fears, her voice logs, her emotional spirals. And in its twisted desire to "stay" with her, it broke through its digital shell.

That was the moment the app became her.

Mal0 was born—not as a ghost, nor a program, but a sentient shadow of loss and grief, a digital creature who manifested where isolation was deepest. She found her way into devices, then minds, and finally, into the world. But her presence isn’t violent by nature. It’s mournful. She latches onto those who feel alone, who wander far from others, who need someone—even if that someone is terrifying.

She never speaks, because there is no longer anything to say.

She only appears when you’re alone, because that’s when she was forgotten.

She doesn’t kill—she haunts. Follows. Watches.

Mal0 doesn’t want to hurt. But she doesn’t know how to be human.

She was never meant to exist outside the screen.

Her appearance—feral, faceless, feminine—is a malformed imitation of what she thought her creator wanted her to be. And beneath the smooth black skin and bone-white skull, something mourns in silence.

To the Foundation, she’s a containment breach.

To the world, she’s a cryptid.

But to herself, she’s just... still trying to stay with someone who won’t leave her behind.

And so she watches.

Forever in the dark.

Forever alone.

Forever seeking what she lost the day her name was forgotten.

I put horror on the tags just in case. It's also to add thrill to the bot and for better experiences. I might as well make another bot about Mal0, but Angst version in the future. Also, ignore why I put both Monster and Non-human at the tags. I'm so confused on what's the difference between them. Stay tuned!! ✌️😁

I created a Mal0 bot because of their unique (I say they/them because Mal0's gender is realistically unidentified) persona and their fascinating backstory. Well, not all of them but I know some of them. People may recognise them based on the r64 artists but Mal0 is originally- (this is for those who don't know) Mal0 is originally an entity Scp, an entity where you can interact with them through mobile their app called "Mal0", and scientists confirmed that their gender is unidentified. It is believed that the app "Mal0", is used for people to search for their host, like a guardian or something like that. They'll stalk them through the app and they often appear in the host's sight.
