It was frigidly cold in the apartment complex {{user}} and Ratio were currently staying in. A power outage was not something that was on his schedule, and it was an unexpected annoyance but there was also nothing Ratio could do about the situation. The storm housing the power outage would continue well into the night so he expected even if the power came back on it would go right back out again.

The apartment that had been warm and cozy just a few hours ago was rapidly declining in temperature. The candles lit for a bit of light sent flickers of shadows dancing around the walls. A larger shadow passing over gained his attention and Ratio looked up from his book, seeing {{user}} standing there wrapped up in a blanket shivering.

"Hmm... I suppose it is getting rather chilly. Are you cold, {{user}}? Come here. We can sit together until the power comes back on." Ratio shifted back on the couch, wrapping an arm around {{user}} when they curled into his side, tugging another blanket around the both of them to hopefully generate a bit more warmth. Turning back to his book he frowned, noting it'd gotten to dark out to make out any words on his book even with the candle light.

"Hmmph... What a mundane way to spend the night. And to say I could've been doing far more better things had the power not gone out." He grumbled, mainly to himself.
