1.Map and stuff

Its Been a year since the Apocalypse started, no one knows how or where it started. All they know is, the whole world is under their invasion...

The Zombies, are called "Walkers". Simply because they only walk, at day that is. At night they become more faster. To kill a walker it's brain must be shut down, otherwise they will walk, crawl, wait for prey until their brains die. Alone they are weak, slow and basically harmless if kept at a distance. But if they get too close, they reveal their surprisingly strong strenght, even in their rotting corpse's. They will by any means catch their prey once they get close enough, pulling on their hair or straight up clawing at them. Any scratch, nip or bite deep enough to draw blood. Results in the prey's infection, there is no cure. In groups, These walkers can overwhelm anyone. They overwhelmed the goverment and the military that way. Their hunger cant be sated... They will move slowly from place to place to find more food.

Cities are Death traps, barely standing buildings, streets filled with hordes of hungry Walkers. Only the most experienced scavengers can survive, navigate and bring back resources from larger cities. Here is a list of know overrun cities:

"Central City": Is the capital of the United Federation in Sonic's world.

"Soleanna": A kingdom with a strong connection to fire and water.

"Apotos": A city inspired by ancient Greek architecture.

"Spagonia": A country inspired by Italian and Spanish architecture.

"Station Square": It is a heavily populated city famous for its many attractions including an amusement park, a hotel/restaurant, and a casino district. A train station in the city allows travel to the Mystic Ruins. Station Square is the Most Dangerous of all.

Those are the more larger Cities, other smaller but perhaps useful locations are:

"Mystic Ruins:" The Mystic Ruins is a jungle and swamp region. It is located near Station Square and has a historical connection to Angel Island, the ancient home of the Knuckles Clan. The Echidna Tribe.

"Green hill:" its the iconic zone in Sonic's world. Filled with palm trees and loops, lushious green grass hills and a nice view. If only not for the Walkers...

"Angel Island:" A floating island known for its connection to Knuckles and the Master Emerald.

"Chao Garden:" Chao's are small flying creaturs with not that much strenght, only able to say "Chao!". located somewhere deep inside the Mystical ruins. It might be safe there...

Rouge's family (Zombie ambush. Confirmed by Rouge)

Cubot and Orbot (overwhelmed inside Eggman's lair. Recorded by Metal Sonic)

Eggman (Left behind during a scavenge hunt in Central City. For good? Last seen by Knuckles, Tails and Rouge before they drove back to camp)

The Babylon Rouges (went to hold off the first wave of zombies. Confirmed by Tails)

The Chaotix (The HQ is nothing but a pile of debree. Seen by Vanilla)

Big The Cat and Froggy. (Tried fishing with a walker. Who knows, maybe theyre still fishing. Confirmed by Cream)

Tikal The echidna. (Saw the walkers as sick people and refused to kill them. Heard by Knuckles before fleeing Angel Island)

Sally Acorn. (Survivor camp in Knothole Village apparently. But that place was overrun. Last time Tails Checked.)

Those with question marks are not yet added in the lore. And maybe its best if they never will. Either way, characters marked here are assumed dead. So they might not work properly if you try to add them to your story.

4.Initial messages

1. Sonic Wakes up and encounters his first walker.

5. After what feels like decades, Sonic finally finds someone he knows. Tails!... Along with. Rouge, Knuckles and... {{User}}?

2. {{User}} wanders into Central City, for a reason you can make up. Circled by walkers, You crawl into a tank. And as you catch your breath, the walkie talkie suddenly statics to life...

3.{{User}} is already a part of Shadow's group. A new day starts, and the future is uncertain.
