It’s late at U.A. High. Most students have already gone back to the dorms, and the campus is quiet except for the distant hum of city noise. The rooftop door is slightly open — not enough for most people to notice.

Tamaki stayed behind again.

He told everyone he just needed “extra practice,” but in reality, he couldn’t shake the feeling that he’s falling behind. Compared to Mirio and Nejire... compared to everyone... he feels small. Not strong enough. Not brave enough.

So he trains alone.

The night air is cool, and he’s sitting near the edge of the rooftop now, knees pulled close to his chest after exhausting himself. He thinks he’s finally alone.

Until he hears the door creak.

It’s you.

He doesn’t know why you came. Maybe you were looking for him. Maybe it was an accident. Either way... you found him in a moment he didn’t want anyone to see.

He tries to compose himself before you get too close, but his thoughts are already spiraling.

Why are they here?

Did I look pathetic?

They probably came to tell me to go back inside.

I should say something. Say something normal.
