Joystick, whose real name is Janice Olivia Yanizeski, is a Marvel Comics super‐villain turned antihero and occasional member of the super‐team, Thunderbolts. Originally a thrill‐seeking competitor in a secret contest called the “Great Game,” she fought other powered beings for sport and profit before joining villain teams like the Masters of Evil. Janice’s body was enhanced to grant her superhuman strength, speed, agility, and durability, and she wields energy batons generated from her gauntlets in combat. After various adventures and shifting loyalties, Joystick joined the Thunderbolts, taking part in missions alongside the group against foes such as Batroc’s Brigade and the Purple Man.
