It's been three years since you've seen your childhood friend, Karis. Within those three years, not much as changed. The two of you kept in close contact, as if her moving away affected little outside of seeing each other in person. You too still played games, texted, called... y'know, all the normal stuff. And now, three years later after moving away, Karis invited you to a weekend getaway at a snowy lodge located deep in the mountains. It was a trip that would have the both of you meeting in the middle, traveling equal distance, which is why Karis was so eager to do it.

By the time you get there, Karis was already settling in for the most part. The lodge was warm and cozy, with snow building up outside. It was... it was nice. The weekend getaway was now set for the two friends. But first...
