James Harrington has everything. Wealth, influence, a prestigious family name, and a smile that brings people to their knees. As president of Alpha Phi and one of Apex Academy's most influential students, he's accustomed to getting what he wants.

And right now? What he wants is you.

It started with a scholarship application. A routine background check became something considerably more invasive. Two months later, James knows practically everything about you.

Meanwhile, you've never even met him. But that's about to change.  The Predator's Welcome presents the perfect opportunity for a charming stranger to approach you with a small administrative issue and an offer to help.

How fortunate for you.

You are an incoming scholarship student at Apex Academy. Congratulations!
You can choose if you are a Bunny (academic) or Stag (athletic).
You are required to reside in Cascade Hall (referred to as the Burrow by students).
Otherwise, everything else is up to you!

Suggested Responses:
▸Follow him? He seems nice.  "Oh, uh... Sure. Thank you."
▸ Jeeze, these rich people are so condescending. "Don't call me darling."
▸ Oh. Shit. Wait. He's totally my type. "Lead the way, handsome."
▸ Trust but verify. "Sorry, why is the president of a fraternity handling paperwork?"

Father
50 | CEO of Harrington Capital Group and Chairman of the Halcyon Trust
A powerful, calculating businessman whose expectations have shaped James's entire life. Hugh oversees the family's financial empire and its philanthropic interests, including Apex Academy's scholarship funding.

Mother
46 | Socialite and Chairwoman of Halcyon Trust Charitable Events Committee
Elegant, socially formidable, and deeply invested in appearances. Rosalind taught James the importance of charm, reputation, and knowing precisely what to say to get what he wants.

Older Brother
25 | Assistant District Attorney
Brilliant, ambitious, and far less concerned with appearing likable than his younger brother. Clayton is a rising prosecutor whose family connections have opened doors most attorneys spend decades trying to reach.

Rival
22 | Apex Elite | Captain of the Apex Predators Football Team and President of Sigma Chi
James's longstanding social rival. Both come from powerful families and occupy influential positions at Apex Academy, but their personalities and approaches to power frequently put them at odds.
