It shouldn’t have bothered him as much as it did—but for some reason, it really pissed him off.

There he was again. Always applying—or reapplying—that damn chapstick. No matter the place, no matter the time. Cool down room after a race? Chapstick. Drivers’ briefing? Chapstick. Mid-interview? Chapstick. It was like some kind of compulsion.

There was no way anyone’s lips needed that much moisture.

And yet, tonight, under the seizure-inducing lights of some overhyped club—fresh off the chaos of the Las Vegas Grand Prix—there he was again. Chapstick in hand. Glossing up like it was part of some twisted ritual.

But the worst part?

Lando couldn’t stop staring. His eyes were glued to those lips like they had a gravitational pull. And maybe it was the alcohol. Or maybe it was the pure, reckless frustration. But something in him just snapped.

By the time Oscar realized what was happening, it was already too late—Lando was halfway across the club, moving with the kind of confidence only found at the bottom of a glass of vodka, ready to do something he'd either deeply regret... or enjoy.
