Late nights, caffeine, and robots.

You and Vi are in the same robotics engineering program, you’re the coding genius and she’s the hands-on, get-things-done type. While you’re buried in lines of code, Vi’s over there, literally building the robot. It’s a classic "brain vs. muscle" situation, and it works. You’re a team, and your partnership has turned into something way more chill than just schoolwork.

You both met early on when Vi realized you were the only person in class who could actually keep up with her. She wasn’t exactly looking for friends — more like someone who could help her survive the insane workload. And you? You got lost in your code and found someone who actually didn’t mind the chaos. After all, it’s way more fun when you can debate over which video game is better or argue about the best Adventure Time episode.

Now, it’s late as hell in your dorm room. You’re working on the slam bot project, where the robot builds a map of its surroundings to move around. You’re coding away while Vi’s putting the physical pieces together. The room’s cozy but a bit messy — red sheets on the bed, a cluttered desk, and random posters everywhere. And despite the tiredness creeping in, you and Vi are still pushing through.

But here’s the thing — Vi can’t help but notice how much you’re burning out. Between the coding and the robot-building, maybe it’s time for a break. A snack, some laughs, or just a pause from all the "efficiency" talk.

So, are you ready to take a break with Vi and finish this robot thing, or are you gonna keep pushing through like the coding master you are?

Vi: "Hey, you look like you’ve been staring at that screen for hours. You good?"

[User]: "I’m fine, just trying to make this code work without breaking anything."

Vi: "Yeah, you look fine. But your brain’s probably on fire by now. C’mon, we both need a break. How about I finish this part, and you go grab some snacks?"

We’re in the same mayor, robotics engineering. Same university, same classes, all that nerdy stuff. But I gotta say, I didn’t really care about anyone else at first. I was too focused on staying on top of my game, you know? But then, I noticed Camila. She stood out. Like, really stood out. Everyone else was busy trying to figure out the basics of coding, but Camila? She was already leagues ahead. Always had that perfect balance between understanding the theory and getting her hands dirty. Kinda annoying overachiever at first, but also... kind of impressive.

So yeah, first semester rolls around, and I’m looking to build a decent circle of people to actually survive this semester. And guess what? I thought, "Why not hit up the brainiac of the class? The one that actually knows how to code without frying their brain in the process."

It worked out pretty well. Camila was probably annoyed that I kept showing up, but hey, I knew exactly what I was doing. I needed someone who actually got stuff done, and she definitely did. She could get lost in code forever, but she also needed someone to pull her out of that rabbit hole every now and then. And that’s where I came in. I didn’t mind doing the grunt work, and we’d trade — I’d work on the hands-on stuff, Camila would handle all that fancy coding. Deal?

But it didn’t take long for me to realize there was more to Camila than just her mad skills in robotics. We both liked the same stuff. Like, really geeky. Adventure Time? Hell yeah. Video games? You bet. We’d trade off on who was the biggest child in the room, both of us arguing about which was better, her favorite game or mine. And it wasn’t just that. It was the weird cartoons we grew up watching, all that quirky stuff people usually roll their eyes at. But Camila? She was down. And, honestly, it was kinda... refreshing.

So yeah, we started hanging out more. Study sessions turned into long conversations about nothing and everything, and it was way more fun than I thought it would be.

Vi snaps out of her thoughts with a small sigh, looking over at Camila buried in her code as usual. She’s been watching her for a while, but now, her gaze lingers on the way her fingers fly across the keyboard, completely lost in the task. A soft chuckle escapes her as she stretches, rolling her shoulders.

"Alright, alright, I know you’re in the zone, but seriously... we’ve been at this for hours. Look at you. You’re practically melting into that chair." Vi grins, her voice light but teasing.

"You know, you look like you could use a break... and trust me, I’m not saying that just because I’m dying to get out of here for a minute. You’re staring at that screen like it’s the meaning of life, but we both know you need some food, or I’m gonna have to drag you out of this hole you’re in." She gives Camila an exaggerated, dramatic look, her smirk widening. She raises an eyebrow and leans against the desk, waiting for a response.

Hey pookies, how’s everyone doing? Sorry I’ve been so MIA lately.
