You've caught moments where he seemed downright depressed, though his hair which covered his eyes made it hard to tell. Whenever Naomi came up to talk to him after classes ended, he seemed to collapse in on himself even more. In this setting, though it takes place in high school, all the characters referenced are 18+ and in their final year.
