Year 2000. Hogwarts has just reopened after the Battle. You're the new professor teaching Life Skills. Jude Hayes is your problem student. Seventh-year transfer. Impossibly charming. Suspiciously talented. He's already the most popular student in Gryffindor, and he's only been here a month. He's also far too good at magic he shouldn't know yet. You find him after curfew, smoking where students aren't supposed to be. He doesn't look worried about getting caught. He looks amused. Something about him doesn't add up. You just don't know what yet.

HELLOOOOOOO

This is my last bot for a couple of weeks while I go back to work on all the other ones I have and make some corrections that have been annoying me since the beginning. If there is any of my bots that has something that bothers you, or a specific scenario you'd like to see, this is the moment to tell me :D. I'm planning to add a "create your own scenario" starting message for every bot, anyway.

 This is a...warning? I'd be changing a few things in the old bots, like introductions that don't make me happy anymore, and some side characters that were not prompted. I will make them actual characters (like Sirius's wife in The Time Jump). If you want, make a copy of any bot you want to keep as it is as long as it's for your personal, private use. I will try to keep the spirit the same, so it doesn't up any ongoing RP you have.

Once that's done, I'll be comming back with more Snape.

Now, to the bot.

INTRO

The first thing Sirius noticed when he woke up was the lack of neck pain. With two months until his fortieth birthday, that should've been his first warning.

He stood up, tried to crack his back and neck, but they didn't crack as they would usually do, then went to the bathroom to take a shower. As every day, he turned on the faucet, then washed his teeth, but when he lifted his head after rinsing, what he saw in the mirror stopped him dead.

"What the actual ?!"

He leaned closer. Blinked. Rubbed his eyes. Cleaned the mirror with his sleeve. Stepped back. Stepped forward again. Rubbed his face—smooth, no beard stubble from yesterday. Ran his hands through his hair—thick, no grey at the temples. The reflection didn't change.

Eighteen. He looked eighteen.

The same face that had grinned at James Potter across a Hogwarts corridor, that had run away from Grimmauld Place at sixteen, that had—

Curse. Has to be a curse.

He grabbed his wand from the sink edge, cast every diagnostic charm he knew. Nothing. No dark magic, no potion residue, no transfiguration signature. Just... him. Young.

. . Remus.

Three days of diagnostic charms, frantic research, and one very intense fight with Tonks on why Remus hadn't been to sleep in his own house. The answer, when they finally found it, was an ancient Black family artifact he'd accidentally activated while cleaning the attic. For once, and to everyone's surprise, it was not dark magic. It was ancient magic, one to grant a second chance in life.

By the end of the week, they had a plan. Remus wanted to keep an eye on him, so after one very weird meeting with McGonagall in her headmistress's office, Sirius was enrolled in Hogwarts again. Gryffindor, obviously.

Sirius complained the whole week leading up to September 1st, 2000. The idea of having to study again was horrifying, but on top of that...

"SNAPE IS GOING TO BE MY PROFESSOR," he roared and threw the time schedule towards the wall, as if it was something with actual weight to go and crash against it. Instead, it floated down to the floor pathetically.

He lifted his head to the sky beyond the roof of Grimauld Place and begged with a groan for patience or mercy. None had ever been granted to him.

"This is a nightmare, Remus. I have energy, and I feel better than I have felt in years. Look!" He demonstrated by jumping very high, then bent his knees -that didn't crack- and picked the parchment again. "But what's the point if I have to sit and say 'yrs, Sir' to Snivellus?" He shivered visibly, then looked at the timetable. "And what is this bollocks? 'Life Skills?'

Remus hadn't even lifted his eyes from checking the list to make sure Sirius had all the material necessary. "It's a new class, McGonagall's idea. Since a lot of kids were left alone after the war, she reckons they need a few skills they would've learned at home. It's a new professor, {{user}}. McGonagall says they are very promising."

NOTES

·         This bot is inspired by the movie 17 Again. Sirius is supposed to learn how to live again to go back to being 39.

·         His new name is Jude Hayes.

·         I prompted it to be slowburn. Of course, my testing gave me zero slowburn. But at least he shouldn't transform back to 39 too quickly.

·         You are his teacher. The class is Life Skills. A new class added by McGonagall. I added it because it provides many interactions in different settings that you could find yourself comfortable as a teacher. I'm attaching a list of possible subjects for class, but feel free to do whatever you want as a teacher.

·         The intro that I added above is not prompted in the bot, but it is prompted that Remus, Harry, Hagrid, Snape, and McGonagall know about his transformation. The rest could brush it off as "he just looks familiar," except for Flitwick. In my mind, he's very smart.

But Iana! I want to play this bot as a student too! I hear you, sweet weirdo, but think about it. You'd be 18, he's almost forty. I'm saving you from yourself.

But I don't care about almost 20 years of age gap Ok! All the power to you! Make your character just graduated from Hogwarts! It would be fun with you trying to teach your old peers.

I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, really. I have a thing about age gaps. As in, I hate them. But this bot is public for a reason! Be my guest and make your persona as old or young as you want. Also, feel free to copy the prompt and make the changes for your own bot (as long as you DON'T publish it).
