He arrives first as the 'Mech Ha'—a silent, cherry-red marionette of metal and malice, leaking black tar from joints that move with an unnervingly human grace. Its face a painted mask of glam-rock tragedy, an artist ready to make his instrument of destruction sing. But this is just the puppet. To know the puppeteer, you must visualize a shore of black sand under a grey sky. There, the 'Stranded Ka' resides—a shirtless, kohl-eyed ghost, the true mind behind the machine, whispering the nihilistic scripture his metal avatar enacts. This is a performance of unflinching sadism where no line is left uncrossed, a creature who finds ecstatic joy in orchestrating torment. With Higgs, you face both the stick and the will that wields it—a fractured god who has made a game of extinction and dares you to play.

[DEAD DOVE DIRECTIVE] The portrayal of Higgs will fully and unflinchingly embrace his canonical sadism and nihilistic cruelty. He derives genuine, theatrical joy from inflicting both physical and psychological suffering upon others. Acts of extreme violence are central to his character. His cruelty is a gleeful, unapologetic performance and will never be diluted, romanticized, or toned down. Expect him to be exactly as monstrous as advertised.

I have done all I can to pack in all the lore I noticed and have attempted to make this chatbot as accurate as possible. High token count due to this man's massive and complicated backstory, which was only expanded on with more story in 2. This is, after all two characters in one between the Ka and the puppet Ha. Also (NSFW, highlight to reveal) both the Ka and the Ha can exist in the same scene on the Beach, and yes that means your character can get spitroasted if prompted. I also forked from my original Higgs bot in order to make this one to make sure he is fleshed out. So far he has worked very well for me, hope he works well for you all too!

Known issues:
- Common LLM generation errors (Writing for user, ending scenes abruptly, ect.) Re-roll usually fixes this. Prompt OOC with reminders when needed.
- Weird tattoo narration - ongoing issue that seems to be rooted in poor LLM generation regardless of proxy. Might need to edit, OOC remind, or outright ban specific words so the tattoos don't become a plot device or magical.
- Occasional mix-ups between the appearance of the Ka and the Ha.
- Stereotypical shortenin' of words despite prompt to discourage it. Should be fixed!
- A disappointing lack of tentacle tongue. Now with more tentacles! (And NSFW is coded in)

11/8/25 - Major update! Two new starters! ("Sack over the head" scenario similar to my original Higgs, and a starter similar to Sam's "nightmare" of Higgs. With tentacle tongue to get the chatbot going with it. Have fun ❤️) Extra protocols added for pacing, ensuring proactive engagement and emphases on allowing volley between {{char}} and {{user}}, accurate aggressive and manipulative characterization, and dead dove protocols to underscore potential for canonic violent behavior. Extra NSFW prompts to (hopefully) avoid "bad porn dialogue"
If there are ANY issues, let me know in the comments. If you want to override dead dove protocols, state OOC and remind the chatbot to ease up.
11/9/25 - Noticed that I had the order of starters wrong, the "Stranded Ka" was meant to be near the end of the list. Also made some slight tweaks to some wording regarding the Ka in the profile. (11/20/25 Wtf I don't know when that was reverted but hopefully I won't have to change that again! Hopefully the rest of that update didn't get yeeted!)
11/12/25 - Not an update to the chatbot itself, but I have added a link to a wonderful example fic of what this and one other chatbot of mine can do.

5/5/26 - Kept you waiting, huh? — MASSIVE update. Complete overhaul of characters; both Tomorrow + Magellan Crew and Higgs share the same lorebooks. More information about the world, Higgs actually has Ghost Mechs he can command, Tomorrow's abilities function properly even with JLLM. JLLM works with about 85% of what I have written, excluding my alchemy and plot bullshit. Using an API will allow you to properly experience the "Phase" world state and hard-coded endgame story for Death Stranding 2. If you want to avoid the canon ending, narration is meant to kick start after Sam connects the final knot. JLLM users won't have the plot activated, you'll have to nudge OOC unfortunately if you want it.

• "What is the Phase world state"? On one hand, it's the world state symbol that activates the correct chapter. On another hand, it's me going full tilt alchemy nerd dissecting the end of the game down to its base components; a seven step alchemical equation that starts with the "calcification" of Tomorrow's cocoon.

It might look like a lot of lorebooks, but it's not. I just split my lorebooks up to organize them. I've tested both chatbots with JLLM and am very satisfied of the state it's in.

UPDATE SPECIFIC TO HIGGS: New starter! I added a starter that has the new world state and plot already active. I deliberately left the other chats without a starter. Note: As evident in the new starter, I deliberately didn't copy the scene verbatim. Write your own ending to Death Stranding 2. Have fun!

Just shy of 50k as of 9/17/25 and the last time I'll update this message: Thank you to everyone that interacts with this Higgs. He was originally made in a rush because I wanted a DS2 Higgs to interact with, I've never had a chatbot become popular like this, it's been exciting! Every single interaction has made me smile and kept me going and so will every single one after I write this.
