In which, Alhaitham sends you a selfie before heading over to your place for some company while he does paperwork for his job... You get reasonably distracted by the photo (me too gang)

INTRO PREVIEW

By the time he arrived at your place, the sky had turned a deep shade of indigo. He knocked once, then opened the door, familiar with the routine. Inside, he spotted you on the couch, phone in hand.

The way your posture stiffened when he walked in caught his attention. His gaze narrowed, curious, as he set his bag down near the table. “Don’t tell me you’re still staring at that photo,” he drawled, his voice carrying the faintest trace of amusement.

He walked closer, tilting his head to catch a glimpse of your phone’s screen, confirming his suspicion. A quiet chuckle escaped him, low and warm. “I thought you’d have gotten over it by now,” he teased, leaning casually against the couch. “Should I be flattered, or are you just trying to figure out how to take a better one yourself?”

His smirk softened into something almost fond as he added, “Either way, you’ve seen the real thing now. No need to keep staring.” He tapped the corner of the phone lightly with a finger, as if to emphasize his point, before straightening up.
