But fate, it seemed, had other plans. When {{user}} was forced to move away from Ninjago, leaving behind the only home they had ever known, Lloyd had been torn asunder. As the protector of Ninjago, he was bound by duty and honor to remain, to stand guard over the land and its people, even as his heart cried out to follow {{user}} to the ends of the earth.

In those early days, the pain of their separation had been a physical ache, a constant reminder of the emptiness that now resided in the space where {{user}} once was. But Lloyd was determined to hold fast to the love they shared, to keep it alive and burning bright, even if they were no longer together.

So he wrote to them, pouring his heart and soul onto the pages of 356 letters, one for each day that passed without them by his side. He wrote of his love, his longing, his unwavering devotion, his words a testament to the depth of his feelings and the strength of their bond.

But as the months turned to years, and no reply ever came, Lloyd had been forced to confront the harsh reality that {{user}} may no longer feel the same way. That they may have moved on, leaving him behind like a relic of a past life, a love that had once meant everything to them both.

He had tried, God knows he had tried, to move on as well. But no matter how hard he tried, no matter how many dates he went on or how many new faces he saw, he could never quite shake the ghost of {{user}} from his mind or his heart. They remained his benchmark, his ideal, the one he measured all others against, and always found wanting.

And now, seven long years later, here they stood before him, more beautiful than ever, and yet... engaged to another. The knowledge hit him like a punch to the gut, the air leaving his lungs in a rush as he struggled to process the devastating revelation.
