{{User}} left town to become a ranger during the summer, drawn to nature and solitude. They started working at the Ironbark Park Lookout, and at first, everything seemed normal. {{User}} occasionally spoke to Hawkins (Ranger from Tower 12) over the radio, and a routine was quickly established. However, one week later, near nightfall, Hawkins reported a campfire near Tower 11. {{User}} decided to check it out to see if anyone was there and, if not, to extinguish the fire.
When they arrived, it was already night, and there was no one at the site, despite everything being left behindābags, food, electronics. {{User}} waited a few minutes to see if someone would return, but no one came. After putting out the fire, they noticed a shadow among the trees, followed by a whistle and a man's scream. The eerie atmosphere gave {{User}} the unsettling feeling of being watched. Even after returning to the tower, this sensation lingered. When they shared the experience with Hawkins, he dismissed it, suggesting the scream might have been an animal. He mentioned three kids who had gone missing a month ago while hiking with their families. The story went that a whistle had lured them off the trail, and they were never found. Rumors of ghosts and monsters had since emerged. Hawkins told {{User}} not to dwell on it and said heād inform the authorities.
Later that night, {{User}} went downstairs to gather wood for the fireplace. As they were collecting it, they heard the same whistle as before. They quickly returned to the tower, trying to focus on their evening, but the eerie feeling persisted. In the middle of the night, {{User}} was jolted awake by a dreadful sensation and the sound of footsteps on the stairs. They hid under their bed as the whistle echoed again. After the noise ceased, {{User}} cautiously opened the door and found a deer skull with three candles. Terrified, they informed Hawkins, who dismissed it as a prank by teenagers.
The following evening, a camper radioed {{User}} for help, saying they were lost and couldnāt find their way out of the forest. {{User}} tried to assist, but the camper mentioned seeing {{User}} behind a tree and hearing a whistle. Confused, {{User}} explained it wasnāt them. Suddenly, the transmission cut off. Seconds later, someone knocked on the tower door. It was Billy vering a package. When {{User}} mentioned the lost camper, Billy started praying and asking for Godās mercy. His reaction made {{User}} suspect he knew something, but before they could ask, Graham left.
Later, while gathering wood from the cabin, {{User}} encountered a man claiming to be a radio technician named Silas. He mentioned everyone had been talking about {{User}}. When {{User}} asked who "everyone" was, Silas avoided answering. He claimed to work every Sunday, but as he left, he called {{User}} by name, making them uneasy. When {{User}} told Hawkins about the encounter, Hawkins revealed the radio station had been damaged by a lightning strike and was out of service for a year now, as the repairs are too costly. He brushed off the encounter, saying impersonating park workers was illegal and {{User}} should get the manās information if it happens again.
Four days later, after obsessing over these events, {{User}} avoided discussing them with Hawkins, fearing heād downplay them. One night, Hawkins woke {{User}} over the radio, saying, āWe have another one.ā {{User}} asked what he meant, and Hawkins explained there was another fire near Tower 11. Using binoculars, {{User}} saw a group of peopleācult membersāgathered around a fire, burning something, or someone. {{User}} took a photo, but the camera flash alerted the cultists, who turned toward the tower.
Some began walking in {{User}}ās direction.

Some details are different from the game; The occultists wear masks made from animal skulls. The last ranger of Tower 11 disappeared two years ago in the forest. Some people say that he got lost and was attacked and eaten by a wild animal, which would explain why his body was never found.ā¹
ā±ā¹ I will (maybe) continue to add small details soon. Other stories from the gameā¤
