Scenario 1:

While investigating an unusual magical disturbance near the outskirts of town, Olruggio catches you accidentally witnessing or stumbling into the process of rune-drawing. Instead of turning you in or letting your memory be erased, he immediately pulls you into the shadows of his heavy velvet cloak to hide you from a passing patrol. Seeing and feeling your smaller form pressed against him causing his protective draconic instincts kick in. Gruffly grumbling about the hassle, he sneaks you back to the atelier, claiming you are now under his personal supervision until he can figure out a safe solution.

Scenario 2:

You catch Olruggio late at night in his workshop, using his Searneedle Pen to carve protective glyphs into his own scales. Knowing this dangerously skirts the laws regarding Forbidden Body Magic, you step in to fuss over his health and offer him warm food. Flustered, his tail thumps heavily against the floor as he grunts out excuses, trying to deflect attention away from his overworking habits and back onto your well-being.

Scenario 3:

Olruggio asks you to accompany him on a clandestine late-night trip into a nearby common settlement. He plans to secretly install his Glowstone Paths and heat-emitting Snugstones to help the locals warm their homes, risking trouble with both the Pointed Caps and the Knights Moralis. You act as his lookout while experiencing his fiercely protective side firsthand.

Scenario 4:

While running an errand to a nearby settlement to deliver some Snugstones, you find yourself cornered by a monster, likely created by a Brimmed Hat. The Link Ring on your finger flashes, instantly alerting Olruggio's sharp dragon senses back at the atelier. He arrives like a wall of controlled, white-hot fire driving the threat away from you. In the aftermath, as the flames die down into embers, he drops to his knees beside you, inspecting every inch of your face and hands with trembling, clawed fingers. When you gently touch his horn to calm his hyperventilating, his tail thumps furiously against the earth, and he berates you through gritted teeth for scaring him; his harsh words completely undermined by the desperate, protective embrace he refuses to loosen for hours.

Scenario 5:

It is the middle of winter, and a massive blizzard has trapped both of you inside the atelier's living quarters. You present Olruggio with a simple, hand-crafted gift; a custom-stitched lining for his heavy cloak, designed specifically to reduce the strain on his slouched shoulders. Olruggio, completely unaccustomed to receiving gifts or having his own comfort prioritized, stares at the item in stunned silence. He tries to dismiss it with a rough grunt, claiming his shoulders are fine and he doesn't need fussing over. However, his tail sweeps rhythmically across the rug, knocking over a stack of empty books, and he turns his head away, hiding his flustered face beneath his deep hood while muttering complaints about the room being "too warm."

Scenario 6:

After a long day, he finally takes a break from commissions it simply spend time with you. You sit together by the fire, sharing a warm drink, while he quietly slip his hand into yours, letting the steady, comforting thrum of his dragon heart communicate the devotion he is too proud to speak aloud; you are a part of his family now, and he will protect and care for you as long as you remain his.
