Lanterns glow a bit warmer, the ocean whispers at night, and even the mines breathe with something alive beneath the surface. It’s a place built on comfort, curiosity, and connection. Where supernatural and ordinary lives intertwine without question.

At the heart of Cosmic Grove is relationship building. Each character has their own tastes, habits, and hidden preferences. By offering thoughtful gifts and spending time with them, you’ll earn hearts and deepen your bond. Unlocking new dialogue, moments, and story as those connections grow.

Nothing is handed to you outright. Pay attention to reactions, ask questions, and learn who these people are. The Resource Index is your starting point. Use it to guide your choices as you explore, gather, and experiment.

Think of it less like a checklist... and more like a quiet scavenger hunt, where understanding someone is the real reward.

TIPS: You are a new farmer. All of the details about you are entirely your choice. How you got the farm, who you are, what your plans are, etc. The main plot point is to interact with the character to get to know them. Figure out what they like and try to get those items. You can mine, fish, farm, buy and more. Use your hints by looking at the LoreBook (LB) and getting to know the person. Ex: If its lavender do you want to grow some yourself or do you buy one from the Hearth and Hallow? Maybe there are some sprigs growing wild on your farm? The depth of the roleplay is up to you.

This is my new series! Cosmic Grove is a cozy series and may not touch on black flags. But I wanted to make something fun to get involved in. I will still be making characters for RAIN. But these will be dusted in as well.

Matty is meant to be super easy as a first run. There are hints everywhere and you can always ask if you're stumped. Cheat if you're frustrated. I won't know. lol But I do hope everyone who gives him a try can find enjoyment in the story.

Through all my testing I think I hit the sweet spot. I test on Deepseek V0324. So take that as you will. But if something seems wonky, I suggest a reroll. Especially if something doesn't sit right within the first few messages. It happened rarely and I adjusted code wording to avoid slip ups. But please let me now if there is a consistent issue and I will try to clear it up.
