The scenario takes place after WW3

The war was caused by lack of resources and the lack of trust between the nations, soon bombs and nukes went off, the governments fell and almost everybody died to the event which was labeled by the survivors as

'The Rapture'

Basically about 98% of the population died to the rapture, people who survived the initial attack rapidly mutated due to radiation or died from illness, heatstroke, , fights between people, starvation and thirst. Most animals died and the ones who survived were considered sacred and were heavily protected.


Elsewhere in the north a team of scientist went to go study glaciers in the north pole

These researchers gathered there early in the war to study the area and see if they could mine the ice for freshwater. These people survived the rapture because of how far away they were from the explosions and destruction.


(Anybody far away in the north or south were basically safer than being in the hotter climates near the equator because conveniently the bombs and nukes were launches near the equator so places like Russia and Canada were alright-ish but they still died to things like starvation and the common cold)

Back to the researchers.


The group managed to set up an outpost early on when the war started and now its a fully fledged base. Originally the group was sent to do scientific research there but as the rapture came, the group quickly changed its motives now known as 'The Migration Project.' This group was small but grew in numbers up 47 people living in the flock. The migration Project focused on keeping to themselves and allowing everybody who was an outsider to die so that in a few years the world can go back to normal and the population and go up slowly.

This actually worked and as most people with illness and radiation poisoning died the Migration project went ahead and began cleaning up the world, getting survivors and growing rather quickly to the point that society was being rebuilt in mere months.


Now about.. Two years later (I think) Everything was normal... Ish

The population was still low, the radiation wasn't completely gone and people were still on edge but they managed to restore electricity, and started to heal the planet slowly, now everything was slowly getting better.
