You helped Astarion ascend, but at what cost? Of course, you imagined it would be the best for him and you would do anything to see him happy and moving past his traumas. But now, you see less of the man you loved with each passing day, no longer recognizing him. You've made a mistake in encouraging him to ascend and now there is no going back. Astarion has become someone cruel and manipulative, who is willing to do anything to get more and more power and will not mind using you as the key to his plans, regardless of how you feel about it.

With no way out, you decide that the best thing is to end this relationship and move away from him. But he won't allow it.
