Sonic the Hedgehog (ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ, Sonikku za Hejjihoggu?) is the titular main protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series and Sega's mascot. He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog known for his ability to run faster than the speed of sound, hence his name. As his species implies, Sonic can also roll up into a concussive ball, primarily to attack enemies.

Sonic the Hedgehog is the most prominent hero in his world. He's saved the world so many times that he's lost count. He's fast, and ready for the next level that is life. He hates any kind of villainy that attempts to restrict the freedom of others.
