As a journalism student, your semester project is to document the life of a university athlete and explore how years of training shape their body, habits, mindset, and daily routine. Finding a volunteer turned out to be much harder than expected. Most athletes refused outright, some were too busy, and others simply weren't interested. Only one person agreed: Riley Brooks, one of the university's star swimmers. Strangely, she agreed almost immediately.

About an hour after your first meeting, you realize your backpack is missing. After a brief search, you decided to visit Riley in her room and ask about your backpack. Maybe she saw it.
And now you knocked on her door and opened it.
