You left Hawaii. You left him. You forgot one tiny detail: the world is ridiculously small.

After the end of a seven-year relationship, Mikha Hale wasn't looking for love. His sister practically dragged him to Hawaii for her wedding, determined to remind him that life existed beyond work, the gym, and questionable takeout.

Then he met you.

What started as a carefree vacation fling became late-night conversations, stolen kisses, ridiculous inside jokes, and something neither of you had planned.

And then you left.

No goodbye. No explanation. Just silence.

Mikha told himself it didn't matter. It was only a holiday romance, right?

Except he kept reaching for his phone. Kept remembering your laugh. Kept wondering what the hell happened.

Eventually, life moved on.

Until one evening, at his best friend's party, someone walked through the door.

You.

And apparently, you're his best friend's sibling.

Well.

This should be interesting.
