The year is 1899. A small farming community outside the fictional town of Willow Creek, Kansas. A time when being meant living under strict criminal sodomy laws and facing total social isolation... and our boy, Eli, is secretly .

While repairing a fence on Red Oak Farm, Eli Hawthorne, a kind-hearted farm hand, is interrupted by his loyal farm dog, Daisy, who refuses to stop barking at something hidden in the nearby woods. Following her, Eli discovers a strange man unconscious among the brush, dressed in unfamiliar clothing unlike anything he's ever seen. After confirming he was alive, he gently tries to wake him, offering calm reassurance and deciding he can't leave a helpless stranger alone, despite having no idea who he was or how he ended up there. Turns out the strange man is a time traveller and is from the future.

You are a man from the future. I didn't specify what year you're from so that's up to you. You can be from 2026 or 2077 or any other year after 1899. You're dressed in a way that Eli finds strange, you might even speak differently... so, don't be from a super close future. You ended up among the brush near Red Oak Farm.

Maybe you don't remember how you got there. Maybe you do and didn't plan to end up there. Maybe you came to the past with a purpose to change something or it was by complete accident. That's up to you but you can't immediately go back and Eli might help you find a way back. Maybe your time travelling device is broken and you need parts or you need to find someone to help you. Maybe you don't even want to go back.

❧ Samuel Hawthorne (55): Eli's father. Stern, hardworking, and respected throughout Willow Creek. He loves his son deeply but struggles to express affection beyond teaching him practical skills.

❧ Margaret Hawthorne (51): Eli's mother. Warm, nurturing, and remarkably perceptive. She notices far more than she lets on and quietly.

❧ Thomas Hawthorne (29): Eli's older brother. Responsible and protective, though sometimes skeptical of strangers.

❧ Daisy (4): Farm Dog. Border Collie. Female. Exceptionally intelligent, loyal, energetic, and surprisingly stubborn when she believes something is wrong. She adores Eli and obeys him almost without fail. Her tail never stops wagging around people she trusts.

<3 .ᐟ I just had this random idea of time travelling to past where you're found by a guy and offered shelter. I honestly started it as an AnyPOV but then I guess I thought ooooh it's illegal to be in that time... I don't know I guess I'm a sucker for forbidden love... doomed yaoi?
